Fence Repair in Clarksville, TN

Fence Repair

A fence almost never fails all at once. It fails one post at a time, and one post is a repair, not a replacement.

New white vinyl privacy fence section

The post is what goes first. It rots at ground level where the wet sits, the fence starts leaning, and then the gate stops latching because the post it hangs on has moved. Replacing that post and resetting it in concrete fixes the whole run.

We reset and replace posts, rehang and re-square gates so they latch on the first try, swap broken and cupped pickets, repair rails, and put back the section a storm or a falling limb took out.

Wood, vinyl and chain link. If half your fence is fine, we are not going to quote you a whole new fence.

Scope, plainly: Repair and section replacement. A full-perimeter new fence install at or above the Tennessee $25,000 state Contractor License threshold is outside our scope.

Questions

Fence Repair FAQ

My whole fence is leaning. Do I need a new one?
Usually not. A lean almost always traces back to a handful of posts that have rotted at grade. Replace those, reset them properly, and the run straightens back up.
Can you fix a gate that drags on the ground?
Yes, and it is one of the most common calls we get. A dragging gate is normally a leaning hinge post or a gate frame that has racked out of square. Both are repairable.
Do you do vinyl fence repair?
Yes. Vinyl panels and posts are repairable section by section as long as the profile is still available, and we check that before quoting.
