LVP plank floor, wall to wall in a bedroom

We pull the old flooring, check the subfloor for high spots, soft spots and squeaks, and fix what we find before a single plank goes down. Skipping that step is why people end up with clicking floors and separated seams a year later.

Then we run the planks with a real layout plan. Staggered joints that look random instead of stair-stepped, a proper expansion gap at every wall, undercut door casings so the plank slides under instead of getting scribed around, and transitions and quarter round that finish the edges.

Bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, whole floors, and rental turnovers where carpet is not coming back.

Scope, plainly: LVP, plus tile work in bathrooms and kitchens. Projects at or above the Tennessee $25,000 state Contractor License threshold are outside what we take on.

Questions

LVP Flooring FAQ

Can LVP go over my existing floor?
Sometimes, over hard flat surfaces. Over carpet, never. We look at what is down before we quote it, because going over a floor that is not flat is how you get seams that separate.
Do I buy the flooring or do you?
Either way works. Plenty of customers buy their own from a big box store and we install it. Just buy about ten percent extra for cuts and waste.
Do you haul the old carpet away?
Yes. Tear-out and haul-off are part of the job, and we do junk removal anyway.
How long does a bedroom take?
A standard bedroom is usually a day including tear-out, prep and trim. Whole floors run longer and we give you the schedule before we start.
